Exhibiting FAQ

1. How do I reserve exhibit space at The Cable Show?
   Apply for a booth online and submit your deposit via credit card. Or make checks payable to NCTA and send your deposit to:

   Exhibit space assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

2. How is exhibit space assigned?
   A valid contract/application and 50 percent deposit must be submitted to NCTA Convention Headquarters in order for space to be assigned. Exhibit space is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications/contracts for exhibit space received after March 7, 2008 require full payment in order for space to be assigned.

 

3. How do exhibitors reserve hotel rooms?
   Exhibitor housing information is posted in the Exhibitors Only area of the website. Once you log in, click on Edit Exhibitor Forms. NCTA housing is only available through this password accessible area of The Cable Show website. Exhibitor hotel requests are being assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be aware that you may receive calls from travel agencies about your housing request; these agencies are not affiliated with NCTA in any way.

 

4. May I bring my spouse and children into the exhibit hall?
   Spouses must be registered for the convention in order to visit the exhibit hall. Spouses receive a discounted rate on their registration. Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed into the exhibit hall. For spouse registration, please go to: www.thecableshow.com/reg to complete the registration form.

 

5. When will the exhibit hall be open?
   

   Sunday, May 18, 2008	2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
   Monday, May 19, 2008	10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
   Tuesday, May 20, 2008	11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

 

6. Where will educational sessions be held?
   All sessions and exhibits will be held at the Morial Convention Center, located in New Orleans.

7. Is shuttle bus service available?
   Shuttle bus service will be provided to most convention hotels on show days, Sunday, May 18 - Tuesday, May 20. A detailed schedule is found here.
