Rebuilding School Libraries
After Hurricane Katrina, many schools in the New Orleans area lost their libraries, denying kids a chance to treasure some of the same books that made a big impact on our lives as children. The book drive organized, along with Cable in the Classroom, during the '08 Cable Show donated more than 20,000 books, CDs and educational DVDs to refill the bookshelves of New Orleans.
